**TIP: To set your makeup, follow this order: primer, liquid foundation or tinted moisturizer, translucent powder. Without a dusting a powder, the water in your makeup and the silicones in most primers repel each other.
You wake up every morning and wear the same makeup you’ve been wearing for years, same routine? Well, save time and energy to wear makeup the smarter way, it’s easier than you think.
- Prep the Skin:
Preparing the skin is a must before you apply any type of foundation. This means starting with a light moisturizer with SPF and primer, Apply moisturizer first and allow it to set a minute, then apply primer. Taking these steps prior to foundation will ensure your skin is both protected, moisturized and smoother with less visible pores and fine lines.
- Translucent Powder:
Translucent pressed powder is the great equalizer if you’ve applied too much eyeshadow or blush. Blend away a bit of the excess and pat on some translucent powder.
Apply lipstick first and then add your lip liner. Once lipstick is applied you can see exactly where you need the lip liner. Moreover applying eyeshadow first before foundation can be a great clean up time saver.
Blend the shadow on your lids right into the liner, no one will be able to tell where the eye shadow ends and the line begins, so the liner will look perfect. Also make sure you blend the foundation really well. My favourite blending product is the Beauty Blender, it leaves no residue.
- Perfect lips:
Use a colorless lip pencil prior to lipstick or lip liner application. This will reduce appearance of any fine lines around lips! Try using lip liner as your lip color, too. Line outer lips and fill in with same color.
Sometimes I love the idea of makeup being a little bit messy. Mascara is the best cosmetic to achieve this look.
For this look, apply multiple coats of mascara, deliberately clumping the lashes together and tapping the skin under the lower lashes with the end of the wand. Careful though you don’t want to be too messy too.
Products used for this look:
Tom Ford Eye Color Quad in Cocoa Mirage ( two matte shades)
Tom Ford Shade & Illuminate in Intensity 2 (used as contour and highlight),
Coco Chanel made this floral-aldehyde fragrance exclusive. .Marilyn Monroe made it sexy, she wore it to bed with nothing else.
Apply to pulse points. The fragrance will follow you throughout the day . . . or evening
When it comes to eyeliner, there isn’t a shape that is going to make you look bad, but the way you line your eye can either make the makeup look bad and outdated.
Asymmetrical Eyes: (One is slightly larger than the other) Line the lashline, from the inner corner to the outer corner, increasing the width at the outer corner on the slightly uneven eye only to make it appear wider and even.
Close-Set Eyes: All you need to do for this eyeshape is create an illusion that your eyes are wider apart than they are. Use a concealer on the inner corners to lighten and open up the eye area. Then, on the outer third part of your eye, create a “V” shape using a black liner, and then trace the shape with a jumbo liquid liner to make a thick wing.
Monolids: Extend the Eyeliner/Eyeshadow along the upperlid. Line the lashline from inner to outer corner and stopping where the eye ends. You can also smudge it out at the outer corners, using a small smudger brush.
Wide Eyes : Wide eyes can handle a lot of look, so go bold/dramatic. Using a waterproof black liner pencil, create a tiny “V” in the inner corner of your eye. Then, go over the line with a liquid liner wing it out at the outer corner.
Small Eyes: To widen small eyes, apply a taupe shadow over the eyelid all the way up to the crease. Next, along the lashline, use a black kohl pencil, smudge it with your fingertip and top with a dark brown eye shadow, increasing the amount of shadow at the outer corners. Lastly, apply a light pink blush using an eyeshadow brush to the upper outer corners of your eyelid, which instantly opens up the eye.
Almond Eyes: To work with almond eyes, line the inner upper and lower lashes with a waterproof kohl pencil the entire way around your eyes, then trace the outer corners of the upper and lower lashlines, smudging it with a smudged brush. Then, top it with a metallic grey shadow to soften it and use bronzer to even out with the crease for a more natural look.

Black Lipstick was not something you expected to see on a run way, party or a casual outing. Ever since Black Lipstick hit the runway the recurring trend kept coming. The secret to owning Black Lipstick is the way you paint it on and the makeup on your face, it can turn out pretty Scary.
You need to outline outside your lipline, because black lipstick tend to make your lips appear smaller.

Hair treatments, the most confusing. We are promised so many long lasting results. Formulas vary from silicone-based, to alcohol free, to natural, to curl enhancing, etc… I tried a couple of products that I believe helped in thicken my hair and have a long lasting shine. In this post I will share with you my top products along with some simple hair remedies you can try at home.
1- Kerastase Lumiere Liquid: It’s quite pricey, however it can last for a year since you just need one or two hair drops for all hair types. This serum gives extreme shine and is extremely weightless. When you spray it on your hand and put it on your hair you bareful feel anything. But you get the shine.
2-Kiehl’s Silk Groom Serum: It can pretty much straighten curly hair. You however have to apply it on wet hair before blow drying your hair as it also helps with minimizing tangles. This serum is mostly recommended for those with curly hair but can also work on any hair types as you can always put it on the tips of your hair for defrizzing.
3- Apple Cider Vinegar: Yes it stinks, but when you leave it in your hair for around 30 minutes before you shower, the silky shine you get is unbelievable. The smell will still remain after you wash it, but only you can smell it. For best results I apply apple cider vinigar on my hair, tie it and cover it with a plastic bag for hydrating effects. (please do not try if you have an irritation to vinigar).
