  • It repairs damaged hair roots by supplying essential nutrients to your hair and scalp.
  • Curry leaves contain beta-carotene as well as protein that reduces hair loss – drastically.
  • Antioxidants contained in curry leaves help revive dead hair follicles, stimulate them and promote hair growth.
  • Curry leaves contain Vitamin B which is helpful in restoring the natural color of your hair.
  • Prevents premature greying of hair and impart radiant texture to your hair.
  • Vitamin B6 contained in curry leaves act in an effective way to strengthen the hair.

. I managed to have my hair grow in less than a year, my hair is no longer dry have dry and feels heathy, soft and thick. So let’s do this 🙋🏻 Recipe for Coconut, Sesame and Curry Leaves 🍃

  • 100ml – 100% Pure Coconut Oil
  • 100ml – Sesame Oil
  • Put on very slow gas. Add to this
  • 2 handfuls curry leaves
  • Heat till just before curry leaves turns black.
  • Cool and Strain.

Remove from flame, cool, strain and bottle. Apply on hair by massaging your scalp downwards to the ends of ur hair. Preferably to leave over night and shower in the morning, but you can wash it off after a minimum of 30 minutes. P.s smell goes away xK-003

How do I apply it – I usually do it 2 -3 times a week before my schedule for washing my hair, which is every 2-3 days. After preparing the mixture I start with applying it on my scalp, massaging it all around. I then add more of the mixture to start applying down my hair, from the roots all the way to the tips. Then, after I am sure I covered most of my hair with the oil I tie my hair up in a bun and wait for at least one hour before washing it.

Review: Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil – by Negin Mirsalehi

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil
I think it is safe to say that I’ve found a new addiction! I’ve been using Negin Mirsalehi’s Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil for about 5 months now. I’ve restrained myself from writing my review about it until I gave it enough time to really try it out. I surely wasn’t disappointed. It was the answer to all my hair woes and beyond.

Being a beauty enthusiast meant that I had my own hair oil recipes that I would lovingly mix up to target all my hair concerns. Despite that, my hair went crazy upon my move to London. I was suffering from insanely dry hair and lots of hair fall due to the change in environment. Thus I decided to give Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil a try. Not only does it come in an exquisite package which you can proudly display on your dresser; it is made with natural oils and ingredients and I’m positive that just like myself you all have a weakness for natures’ bounty.

Gisou Honey Infused Hair Oil

This product is incredibly versatile and it can be used in a myriad of ways. I have devised my own routine for using this oil as follows:

  1. Bedtime: I dispense 2 drops in the palms of my hands, rub my hands together and then apply it to my hair; scalp to roots going downwards.
  2. Hair Mask: I also use it as a hair mask following the same method as above but using more of the product. Don’t worry if your hair feels greasy, you will notice how amazing it will feel after you shower it off in the morning.
  3. Wet Hair: When my hair is wet after my shower, I dispense one drop to the palms of my hands and I distribute it evenly to the hair ends only.
  4. Before Styling: I also use the oil on dry hair before using a straightening or a curling iron. I dispense less than a drop to the palms of my hands and apply it to the tips of my hair. You can also apply a bit to the roots going down to the ends if you feel that you hair needs the extra hydration.

I noticed a big difference in my hair after I started using Gisou Hair Oil. It definitely feels a lot more hydrated; it has grown longer, it looks shinier, and the general health of my hair has improved. I can finally rest assured that my hair is being protected from all the environmental elements here in London.

The oil is super dense that a single drop of the oil can work your entire hair. This means the product can last you for a whole year which in turn means that the price is quite reasonable when you consider the amount of time the product will serve you.

I love love love this oil; it has become an integral part of my beauty routine. I even ordered the Propolis Infused Texturing Wave Spray…. it’s on its way!!

Thumbs up Negin

Silky Thick Groom

hairstyles-trends-2015-16 134f9fdbbec7b6ce70472ec774d72bedHair treatments, the most confusing. We are promised so many long lasting results. Formulas vary from silicone-based, to alcohol free, to natural, to curl enhancing, etc… I tried a couple of products that I believe helped in thicken my hair and have a long lasting shine. In this post I will share with you my top products along with some simple hair remedies you can try at home.

1- Kerastase Lumiere Liquid: It’s quite pricey, however it can last for a year since you just need one or two hair drops for all hair types. This serum gives extreme shine and is extremely weightless. When you spray it on your hand and put it on your hair you bareful feel anything. But you get the shine.

2-Kiehl’s Silk Groom Serum: It can pretty much straighten curly hair. You however have to apply it on wet hair before blow drying your hair as it also helps with minimizing tangles. This serum is mostly recommended for those with curly hair but can also work on any hair types as you can always put it on the tips of your hair for defrizzing.

3- Apple Cider Vinegar: Yes it stinks, but when you leave it in your hair for around 30 minutes before you shower, the silky shine you get is unbelievable. The smell will still remain after you wash it, but only you can smell it. For best results I apply apple cider vinigar on my hair, tie it and cover it with a plastic bag for hydrating effects. (please do not try if you have an irritation to vinigar).
